It’s been pretty bloomin’ humid out there recently hasn’t it? When our British summer time decides to bless us with its presence, it usually does so with a heavy helping of mugginess too, meaning the entire population of the country becomes slightly sticky to the touch, wandering around helplessly seeking even the slightest breeze. Is it just me or does anyone else find the heat here much more stifling than abroad?
Sacet very kindly gifted me the item featured in this post.
“Ethical” – it’s the buzz word of the moment, isn’t it? In the past few years you’ll have been hard pushed to miss the awakening of society as a whole as we realise we have been living without care for too long, impacting both this planet of ours and those who live upon it. And with fast fashion being churned out on our High Streets, it makes a pleasant change to find a brand who are working hard to level the playing field and make a difference – step in Sacet, offering high quality jewellery with a conscience.
I was invited down to try the meny at The George and Dragon Mountnessing in exchange for a review. All opinions remain 100% honest and my own.
One of my greatest pleasures in life, other than laying on my sofa and morphing into the comfy little potato I am, is going out for something to eat. Generally, I will always favour eating in a pub to a restaurant, I’m definitely more of a low-key, comfy venue lover rather than something a bit more swanky, so when I was asked to pop along to The George and Dragon pub in Mountnessing I jumped at the chance.
Debenhams very kindly gifted me with some outfits for my holiday.
In just a few weeks time I will be heading off on my holidays and I’ll be honest with you, I CANNOT WAIT. Although I’m not allowed to sit in the sun anymore (thanks Cancer!) I can’t wait to be in the warmth, listening to the weird cricket-insect things buzzing away in the trees, and feeling myself completely, well and truly, relax. View Post
What’s this? A new regular (hopefully) style post? Why yes, yes it is. Y’girl decided that as this here blog is meant to be a record of my life, capturing my memories, it made sense to write more regularly about what I’m doing, how I’m feeling and what’s been whizzing around inside my head. Writing monthly updates as I have been is all well and good but I wanted to get back to my roots a little, back to the days when I used to write daily (LOLS, that’s never gonna happen now) and made this website much more personal.
