Dear Diary… (22 May 2018)

What’s this? A new regular (hopefully) style post? Why yes, yes it is. Y’girl decided that as this here blog is meant to be a record of my life, capturing my memories, it made sense to write more regularly about what I’m doing, how I’m feeling and what’s been whizzing around inside my head. Writing monthly updates as I have been is all well and good but I wanted to get back to my roots a little, back to the days when I used to write daily (LOLS, that’s never gonna happen now) and made this website much more personal.

This is a sponsored post.

It’s not something I’ve spoken about much on here before but I’m a bit of a petrol head. Always have been, always will be. It’s something that has been with me for as long as I can remember and so many of my childhood memories involve cars in some form or another.

Life Lately (April 2018)

Life Lately (April 2018)

It’s a cliche, I know, but how on earth is it May tomorrow?! And, more importantly, why does it still feel like bloomin’ winter? As I sit here now, it’s grey and cold and wet and definitely doesn’t feel like the midst of Spring. I’m ready for balmy summer days seeking respite in front of the fridge and frantically waving anything in front of my face that might create a cooling draft!

Book Review: Hope At Christmas {AD-REVIEW}

Book Review: Hope At Christmas {AD-REVIEW}

I was sent a pre-publication copy of Hope At Christmas in exchange for a review. All opinions remain 100% honest and my own.

Reading is one of my greatest pleasures in life and the sole reason I love commuting to work by train – a dedicated hour each day that I can lose myself in a story. Usually my genre of choice is true crime and it’s rare I deviate from this, however from time to time I will opt to read a fiction story… about crime. It’s just my thing, I find it fascinating and desperately want to do a Criminology course one day!

Webbox Natural Pet Food {AD-GIFTED}

Webbox Natural Pet Food {AD-GIFTED}

We were very kindly sent a box of goodies by Webbox. All opinions remain 100% honest and my own.

We are living in a world now that is much more aware of what we are putting in our bodies. Organic produce is on the rise, veganism has blown up in the past few months (there’s now more vegans in the UK than there are ginger people!) and our understanding of all the additional nasty bits and pieces that find their way into our food and drink is at an all time high. But did you know that a lot of the pet food available on the market is also full of junk? I discovered a few years ago how bad some of the more well-known pet food brand names are when you get down to the nitty gritty and, since then, I’ve actively looked for more health conscious options to feed my menagerie.
