Sacet very kindly gifted me the item featured in this post.
“Ethical” – it’s the buzz word of the moment, isn’t it? In the past few years you’ll have been hard pushed to miss the awakening of society as a whole as we realise we have been living without care for too long, impacting both this planet of ours and those who live upon it. And with fast fashion being churned out on our High Streets, it makes a pleasant change to find a brand who are working hard to level the playing field and make a difference – step in Sacet, offering high quality jewellery with a conscience.
Debenhams very kindly gifted me with some outfits for my holiday.
In just a few weeks time I will be heading off on my holidays and I’ll be honest with you, I CANNOT WAIT. Although I’m not allowed to sit in the sun anymore (thanks Cancer!) I can’t wait to be in the warmth, listening to the weird cricket-insect things buzzing away in the trees, and feeling myself completely, well and truly, relax. View Post
I was very kindly gifted the shoes in this post by Footway. All opinions remain 100% honest and my own.
Shoes have always been a weakness of mine. The old version of me would spend inordinate amounts of money on footwear that – in some cases, ashamedly – I only wore once or twice. I was reckless with money (hence getting into crippling debt) but, my word, did my feet look good when I hit the town!
(totally unrelated, but nevertheless stunning, photo of the view from Bishops Castle Barn)
This post is a little on the late side. My grand plan was to do a summary every month of all the things I’ve been loving in the previous 28/30/31 days, but time has run away with me a little and suddenly we find ourselves slap-bang in the middle of February! But, late is better than never, so here we are – the things that were rocking my world in January.
I was very kindly sent this dress as a gift by River Island. All opinions remain 100% honest and my own.
It’s not often you’ll find me wearing a dress. I am, generally, much more comfortable in jeans (when I’m outside the house), comfy sloggy leggings or joggers when I’m at home, or, if I’m feeling particularly fancy on a night out, you might find me squeezing myself into a pair of leather-look trews for a little bit extra pazzazz.
